I won the gloves in an auction in America in 2003. See attached letter. I then wrote to Joan with a
10"(h)x8"(w) photo, an sae for returning and asked her if she would sign it as I had won her gloves in the auction.
I believe the autograph is autopen and I also believe that the envelope they were sent in is her handwriting as she was around the age of 85/86.
